Year 2 Information Writing

To support Year 2 students in Writing Workshop who are learning how to write information
books we learned about some of the features of non-fiction books.

We looked for a  title, sub-headings, pop-out words, technical words, diagrams, captions, a table of contents and a glossary. 

Working together to complete a matching activity. 

We learned some actions to go with our words as a multi-sensory approach to teaching and learning helps students to remember their words.
