English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed a summer vacation filled with fun and exciting memories
with your loved ones. We are thrilled to welcome all of you back to a new
school year of learning and growing here at ISH.
Tomorrow we are welcoming our new students!
Later in the week we will be assessing our new students to see what level of
support they will need. The Fun Club for our students that are new to English
will start as soon as possible. All other EAL support will start up shortly after that. If you have any questions about that we are
happy to help you, you can find us in room A.117.
We hope that you will be an active Language
Partner, so that together we can support your children in building a strong
language foundation in all of their languages.
We are looking forward to meeting our new students and to seeing our students from last year again,
