Year 6 SpaG lessons on creating Sentence Variety

Year 6 has been having regular spelling and grammar lessons to strengthen their skill set for academic writing in the Writing Workshop. Here you can see them applying what they have learned about creating sentence variety within their sentences. They have learned how to separate the core sentence away from the extra detail, and are learning to move this extra detail around to start off their sentences in different ways. In learning to understand sentence structure, they are becoming more flexible and skilled as writers when creating them!
