Y2 Concluded their unit on Food with "Restaurant Week." Each child had a turn at cooking and serving food to another class. To prepare EAL students for this activity we translanguaged verbs.
The students prepared vegetable soup, garlic bread, green salad and fruit salad with whipped cream.
The students worked hard and this practical learning experience taught them some life skills.
