In and outside the Year 1 classrooms we have been looking a the IPC topic Clothes. We have been working on building vocabulary and sentence skills. These various activities are carried out in small groups to optimize the opportunities for language interaction and to increase the participation in the classroom. A variety of strategies including, stories, songs, poems, role-play and games are used.
