Since the beginning of the year the children and the teachers of the ISH have been working very hard on our "Bring a piece of Home into School'- project.
A sense of belonging is essential for everyone's well-being; ‘All children need to go to school and find a little piece of home in it’ (Hamayan, 2010)
Inspired by the quote above we decided that we had to realise this in our school as well.
You are very welcome to come and have a look at the results. There are beautiful pieces of Art hanging up in the staircases. Hopefully you can find a piece of home in the staircase as well...
The concierges are working very hard in between lessons to hang them all up, as they all need to be drilled into the wall.
