Spring has Sprung!

What lovely sunny weather we have been having.  A pity the winds have made it a lot cooler than usual.  Our gardens and trees have sprung into life and the EAL children have been looking closely at our Green Space in front of the school.  We looked at the flowers and plants, and currently are investigating the insect life in the space.

These girls bravely study a spider they captured.  What we didn't photograph was them
dropping the container when it suddenly jumped. It escaped earlier than anticipated.

We have been looking at all the new growth in the Green Space.

Children also looked at trees that were pruned six weeks ago
and now were budding and growing new branches and leaves.
