Last week in
Reception, we have been playing bingo, number and memory games with pictures of things
we see when it is autumn like acorns, apples, leaves, corn, squirrels, and
pumpkins. We talked about what happens
during this time of the year. The children loved talking about the leaves falling down.

After
playing our games, we enjoyed making leaves for our very own autumn tree.
Matej, Fleur, Janek, Diana, Simon, and Pravisha busy drawing, colouring, and carefully cutting leaves.
Camily, Bryce, Xinyang, and Harper filling up the tree with autumn leaves.
Everyone enjoyed making their leaves. Here are some observations the children had of our lovely tree.
Diana: “The tree is red and yellow.”
Ariana: “It’s lots of yellow.”
Leo: “ This is like fire.”
