During Home Language learning Y2 students listened to the legend of the mid Autumn Festival and learned the story of why this festival is celebrated.
Our Chinese students taught their class how to write words and numbers in their language.
Quiaoran taught her class how to write the characters for sun, moon, mountain water and rain.

It is interesting that in Chinese there is a particular character for a word.

Each week the students will learn some stories that come from a different country as part of their IPC unit - Stories people tell. They will learn some words from that country? I wonder which country will be next week?
