Year 3 - Visual Representation

Visual Representation

Year 3 have been working on their speaking skills in EAL and expressing opinions about art. Children looked at landscape paintings and photographs and identified what shapes, art styles and objects they could see. They then discussed what they thought about two different paintings and photographs. What great ideas they had!

Year 3 children are also learning some of the vocabulary we use when talking about maps, in particular the symbols found on a map key. Children discussed and drew their own symbols. We then had to guess what they were.
