All about Animals

In Reception, we have been learning about animals and the places they live - farms, jungle, savannah, and the Arctic.  We played games sorting out whether the animals lived in hot or cold places. This week we focused on animals that live in the water and on land.

Here are some observations the children had while we took a look at some animals:

Deimante:  "There can be the leopard (pointing to the savannah).  Here there can be bad, bad things- tigers, snakes (jungle)."

 Jun:  "Monkey go here climbing tree (jungle)."

Anna:  "I scared of lions.  Penguin, it’s sliding."

Bryce:  "Ik saw a penguin."

Justin: "I see there in India.  There is big snake."

Fabijan:  "The sea turtle in water but also on land when she needs eggs."

Victor:  "Snake on land because I never saw snake in the water."

         Diana, Francesco, Lulu, Matej and Noelle are thinking about where these animals live.
