Year 4 - Daily Routines

Year 4 have been learning all about Daily Routines!  We have been expanding our vocab around 'verbs' and 'things we do every day.'

We played a lot of games to help us learn the vocabulary of daily routines (e.g. brush my teeth, eat my lunch, watch tv etc).  Then we sorted these activities into 'morning, afternoon and evening'

Some of the things we do both in the morning and in the afternoon!

Then we made a poster about what we did each day.  We drew pictures and wrote a sentence about each.  Then we presented it to the rest of the group.  Have a look!  Ms Miriam is really proud of how much English we are speaking!!

And to finish, we used our new vocabulary to create word searches for our EAL friends to solve.  We tried to make them challenging and we really enjoyed solving them.  We have them all up on our window in the EAL space if you want to take a look!

Our next step is to learn about houses and homes.  We hope that we can extend our 'daily routines' vocab to tell you where we do things and to learn to ask questions using 'Where do you (read a book/eat your breakfast/brush your teeth)?
