All the children are excited about the upcoming holidays and this week in EAL we have been playing winter and Christmas related games. Ms Tingting talked about Christmas with the children and they played Christmas bingo. Here are a few of the comments that the children made about Christmas and winter:
Milan explained about reindeer: "Run in the sky because it is going to house because it's giving children presents."
Janek said, "Sinterklaas came and there be a present.'
Pablo talked about snowmen: "When it's so hot the snowman will go downer and downer."
I think Lara was looking forward to snow, "I throw snowball at mommy and mommy throw snowball at me."
Ms Susanne and the children discussed the steps of making a snowman:
"We make a ball, then snowball." (Qixiang)
"Make a body, make a head." (Alex)
"Small ball is the head." (Milan)
"We do a stick hand." (Gerard)
"We put the buttons and the eyes." (Arnau Lluma)
"Put on eyes." (Tahsin)
"We put a pirate!" (... he did mean carrot - Gerard)
"Make a mouth." (Alex)
"Put a hat!" (Qixiang)
