Today we had an impromptu change of our EAL lesson in Year 3 as these hardworking super stars were experiencing some difficulties with division in class. We sometimes forget that Math lessons are language rich and language heavy too.... think about the vocabulary that we use and how it has different meanings as well! It can be quite confusing when your teachers starts talking about a table during Maths when you are still developing your English.
