What noises do animals make in English? What noises do they make in other languages?

  

     Children in Reception were really motivated to play a memory game in which they had to exercise their brain... rolling a dice, matching the colours and making the animal noises in English! Of course, we are always welcome to use our home languages either to speak the name of the animals or to make the sound of an animal! 

     Tudor could not remember how to say "pig" in English, so he said "purcel".

     Iris preferred to say "cochon" instead of pig!

     Some kids also chose to make only the noise of the animal... and we all had to guess what it was.
