At the ISH, we appreciate and celebrate the languages that our students speak, as well as their home countries. To celebrate it even more, we have language of the month!
Every month, we pick a specific language to focus on and a country that speaks that language. The choice depends on where it is in the world and the representation of our students and staff.
Language of the month is a great opportunity for parents and their children to learn about the different languages and countries around the world. We invite you and your children to share with their classes anything they might know about that language and/or the country.
For this month of December, the language of the month is Danish!
If you and/or your children do not know about anything about Denmark, feel free to do some home learning and research about the cultures and traditions in Denmark or even explore the Danish language. We would love to see and hear the wonderful information!
In Year 4, we have an open display where students and staff can add what they know about Denmark and/or Danish.
