This week in Year 4, we have been learning about animal classification in our new IPC unit, Nature of Life. We have discussed the different animal groups animals belong in and what animals need to have in order to be in a certain animal group. For example, for an animal to belong to the mammal group - they need to have fur or hair, give birth to live young and drink milk from their mothers.
We decided to pick animals from our home country and sort them into the different animal groups using our home languages. Take a look at the multilingual work from our students!
