Our new topic after the summer is Dinosaurs. We have been looking at different types of dinosaurs, explored new IPC vocab and made many mother tongue links.
The children practised their instructional language and use of prepositions while playing a Barrier Game with different dinosaurs.
After great team work they evaluated their own and each others' dinosaur landscape.
The first exciting stories are almost finished, some children were on fire! It was great to read these gems. We started writing our stories by either drawing out the story line first or writing straight away. Every child choose their own prefered style while using the word banks to enrich their dinosaur story.
