Year 1 - Fairy Tales (Red Riding Hood)

In Year 1 the classes are starting to learn about Fairy Tales. We are looking at them in EAL too!

Today Alessia and Sabrina heard the story 'Red Riding Hood'. Then they retold the story with sequence cards and puppets!

Luis, Xinyang and Simone did the same thing!

Then we talked about these things:

SETTING: the forest and Grandma's house), 

CHARACTERS: Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, Grandma and the Woodcutter

PROBLEM: the wolf wanted to eat Red Riding Hood so he dressed up like Grandma

SOLUTION: the Woodcutter rescued Red Riding Hood. 

We are going to use these words to look at other stories too!
