Year 1 - Fairy Tales (The Three Little Pigs)

We are learning all about parts of a story and are using Fairy Tales to do so.

This week we were looking at 'Red Riding Hood' and now we are looking at 'The Three Little Pigs'.

We listened to the story and then put the picture cards in order.  Then we tried to retell the story in our own words.  It's not easy with words like 'NOT BY THE HAIR OF MY CHINNY CHIN CHIN' and 'I'LL HUFF AND I'LL PUFF AND I'LL BLOW YOUR HOUSE DOWN!'

We also watched the story online to help us with this.

Then Pedro, Lulu and Camily had fun playing a game where the wolf has to try and blow the houses!!

Some of us also made some of our own Big Bad Wolf and 3 Little Pigs puppets.

We are going to bring these home and will try to re-tell the story.
